2009 11 27 Honda BeAT Ride with HPI Employees and ABR to Nagcarlan, Laguna and Lucban, Quezon

A common scooter group ride consisting of 30+ participants happened last November 27, 2009, led by Honda Philippines, Inc. plant employees, a few customers and members of the Alliance of BeAT Riders (ABR). The ride proper started at the Petron gas station fronting the Light Industry and Science Park II at Laguna, went through Pagsanjan and Nagcarlan (underground cemetery), and peaked over at Lucban, Quezon (Kamayan Sa Palaisdaan and Kamay Ni Hesus).

Odometer reading insights and my fuel consumption logs over this ride can be found at this Google docs spreadsheet on the worksheet named LoloyD.

Snaky trails, snaky animals! Yikes!

Bring me to great adventures, Honda BeAT!

Motorcycle Rights Organization of the Philippines (MRO) Application Form

I recently applied for Motorcycle Rights Organization of the Philippines (MRO) membership as they might embody the cause I was hoping to participate in. As a sign of goodwill and polite gesture, I would like to make their application form downloadable from my website as well - and I hope the owner of this document would not mind this potential copyright atrocity. In any case, they (and only they) may file their abuse complaints to trashedsuggestionbox(at)loloyd.com.

2009 11 07 ABR First Group Ride

Once upon a time in a galaxy not so far away, 8 + 2 brave men and women dared to traverse uphill, downhill, long and winding roads from Metro Manila to Antipolo, to Famy, Laguna, to Caliraya, Laguna (approximately 110 kilometers southeast of Manila by road) and back. This is their story, as told in pictures.

The Alliance of BeAT Riders (ABR), with official website located at http://www.abr-ph.comxa.com/, is a club composed of Honda BeAT owners and enthusiasts established in the first half of 2009. It aims to consolidate all Honda BeAT owners and enthusiasts into a cohesive and friendly group, where members can share rides, experiences, riding techniques and modification secrets.

They will be back to ride again, elsewhere! And they hang out in the MCP forums at http://www.motorcyclephilippines.com/forums/.
